DIY Birthday Party Prep: Character Cutouts and Cupcake Toppers Galore!

Girl, it is getting closer and closer to Saturday.
So day two of birthday party prep for T3.
Today, I will be making character cutouts,
of course, the Doggy Land theme, y’all.
I actually seen this idea on TikTok,
and I’m like, this is such a great idea.
But let me tell you, it was not easy getting these pictures.
I was, like,
trying to price match CVS.
It was $50 for just three.
So then I decided to try Office Max,
and their machine was. So
at this point, I’m stressing.
Then I just have this bright idea to go on Walmart. Com,
and lo and behold, I only got these for 38 bucks.
Girl, be careful doing these, because, yes,
I did cut my finger a little bit,
but I put my band aid on and got right back to work.
As you can tell, I have a poster board behind it,
and all I did was use a knife and I cut,
but ouch. Character.
I got the poster prints as a 16 by 20,
but I think next time I’m gonna go up in size.
Then I got the poster boards from Dollar Tree,
of course. Falling on a budget, baby.
But I think they turned out so nice.
And I’m here showing the baby,
and he loved them. Our next crafty mom project was cupcake toppers
with my baby’s face on them.
Yes, his face.
I got some colorful popsicle sticks to go with the Theme.
And I printed these images off at Walmart,
but I got my hot glue gun,
glued the sticks right to the back of the portrait,
and, yeah,
I’m literally this obsessed with my child that I made his face
cupcake toppers. All in all,
these two projects took extremely long time.
It doesn’t seem like it, but yes,
this took a minute. Look at. Haha.
AKA grams over there doing his balloon arch.
But yeah, girl,
this is it for day two,
and I’m so excited that these turned out so good.
Come back tomorrow for day three.
