Designing a Dream Nursery: Transforming with Jamestown Blue and Brass Accents

welcome back to day three of building a dream nursery for our firstborn
aka our littlest bae we’ve got all the molding up and the paint Sean
we saw that and this is when things are gonna start getting really good
we’re so close to being able to put up the wallpaper in the room
but first we’ve got to paint all the trim
we’re going with the Jamestown blue color by Benjamin Moore
same color that we went with for the walls
and I am so obsessed with this color
I was a little afraid it was gonna be too dark
but it actually turned out to be perfect
we’re gonna paint the window grids too
because why not so we removed those
and we’re gonna spray those when we also spray the crown molding
and just wait till you see what we have in store for the crown molding
it’s literally so unreal
I have been wanting to change out all the black doorknobs in our house
for brass ones since we moved in
and we figured what better time to do it than now
we removed the door cause it was just gonna make it easier to paint around it
and I ate some lunch while I watch my baby daddy finish up painting
and then Sean had to hit me with this cute statement
“i think he’s gonna love it in here” “you do?!”
removing the tape is always just so satisfying
and I just cannot get over how good the room is
starting to look what do you guys think so far?!
last step was just switching out that doorknob
and look how good the brass looks at the blue
like I’m absolutely losing it
stay tuned for day four because we’re adding wallpaper
and it’s almost time for reveal peace!
