Juice of half of a lemon
in a bowl, whisk together one cup of sugar,
one fourth cup of flour.
Now evenly sprinkle it over your pie.
Do not stir.
It’s gonna bubble. Just do not stir.
Now just sprinkle some butter.
You just want to cover the top of your crust with butter.
You want to protect your crust so it doesn’t burn.
Now bake it at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 3 75, and bake it for another 35 minutes.
It leaked a little because I overfilled it,
and when I put it in the oven,
it spilled over. But now you just need to allow it to cool
and then put it in the refrigerator to set up.
That’s the key to these pies
is after it cools, you put it in the refrigerator to set up for, like,
eight hours or so. Otherwise,
you might have a runny pie.
