I’m not sure if you noticed.
There are a couple of movie posters.
Yeah, there’s so many.
Everyone’s got great taste.
And in her apartment, she has. Oh,
it was speed. Speed.
Yes, speed.
In her bedroom. Yes, speed.
Richie has an alien poster in his bedroom.
But my favorite one was there’s a rounders poster.
Yeah. In the basement of the bear was Mikey’s poster.
But rounders actually has a lot of similarities to the show.
Carmichael’s taking on the debt of someone from his past that he loves.
He’s taking on Mikey’s debt,
and he’s trying to figure out how to pay it back.
And then you can look at Richie as Edward Norton’s character,
kind of just being this troublemaker.
Gets arrested, he’s unreliable,
he’s, uh,
uncontrollable.
And so the rounders has a lot of similarities to the bear.
So I think that’s why they put that poster.
Plus, because rounders is a fucking awesome movie.
We should do it sometime. We’re gonna do a poker episode.
Poker episode would be fun.
Poker episode. But I see a lot of similarities between the bear
storyline and characters and rounders storyline and characters.
