This is how to properly clean your dog’s nail file toy.
As you can tell, it’s looking a little crusty
and the file paper on top is very worn out.
Start by taking the lid off,
flip it upside down and try to tap out as many crumbs as possible.
Don’t want to break it, but give it a good little slap.
Shake it, give it a little pounce.
Look at all the crumbs that I just got out of it.
Go in with a wet paper towel.
You can also use a washcloth and go in there and just wipe it all out.
I like to use my fingers to try to get in the cracks.
Please do not put this in your dishwasher.
It will likely warp it. Make sure to give everywhere a good wipe down.
This looks so much cleaner.
Time to do the lid. Even though it looks really worn out,
it’s still very effective.
And filing his nails down.
But for the sake of this video,
I’m gonna show you guys how to replace it.
Sometimes I like to use a knife just to get it started.
One of the best things about this file paper is how
how thick it is.
Notice how this is all coming up in one big piece and not shreds.
Go in and wipe out the lid.
No need to worry about the sticker residue
cause we’re just gonna put another one on top.
