Understanding Target’s Updated Price Match Policy: What Shoppers Need to Know

Target just changed their price match guarantee,
and if you’ve ever price matched anything at target,
here’s all you need to know moving forward.
Previously, Target’s price match guarantee
was that they would price match any competitor store
as long as the competitor itself was selling it.
You were able to clearly see the price.
For price matching either the day of or within 14 days of purchase.
Now, the only three places that target will price match is themselves,
Amazon, or Walmart.
They are not price matching any competitors outside of those three.
They are also no longer allowing price matching
in places like Alaska and Hawaii
where you were previously able to price match.
They just straight up will not price match anyone in those two states.
That did not change are within the 14 days.
And they aren’t gonna do it
unless it’s directly sold by those competitors
and it’s not part of like some flash sale,
you know, like a Lightning deal or something like that,
they will not price match that.
But this just seems like a really odd move,
especially
cause it comes on the heels of target lowering a bunch of prices.
We think of this,
do we normally price match things outside of Walmart and Amazon?
Is this gonna be a big deal for couponing and deals moving forward?
I’m not totally sure,
but just know that this is their new price match policy moving forward,
and they will not be price Matching anyone outside of those three
