Van Conversion Chronicles: DIY Adventures in Insulation, Wiring, and Spray Painting

Alright, this is day.
Like, this is day.
Probably like 10. The van conversion.
This is my beautiful van. Let me show you what we’re working with.
So far, we’ve done all the framing,
we’ve done all the insulation.
Now we’re putting up all these heat reflectors
to keep all the heat out. And then I’m gonna do all the wiring.
Bull crap. And then put up all the walls and the ceiling.
I don’t really know what I’m doing.
I don’t really call myself much of a carpenter.
More of a D I Y. Specialist.
So, uh. Yeah,
let’s just see how this goes.
It’s rock and roll, baby.
That’s a wrap on insulation and the reflective stuff. Now onto wiring.
That’s a wrap on wiring. Now we’re gonna spray paint.
Isaac and Taylor are coming over,
and they’re gonna help me quickly spray paint the rear bumper
rims and all the crap. So cue the montage.
Look at spray paint.
Like, she looks fresh.
She looks clean, bro.
It’s like we got a little less done today than I was expecting.
The sun is setting, but we finished.
Um, yeah,
I guess come back tomorrow,
because tomorrow we’re gonna be putting up all the walls.
Josh is coming over. He’s gonna help me finish all the walls.
So stay tuned. We’re coming back tomorrow.
So close.
