Exploring the Magic of Vacuum Sealed Bags: A Daiso Review

Another day, another random thing from Daiso you didn’t know you needed.
I’m still getting over the fact that I just Learned
they sell vacuum sealed bags
and I have always been curious about them.
So today we are testing them out.
Round one. I’m going to start with two articles of clothing
because I don’t know how this is gonna go.
I’m just trying to figure out how it all works.
So I’d rather be safe than sorry.
So first thing is to unzip the bag and open it.
The directions say, don’t put sharp objects,
don’t put heavy objects, don’t overfill it.
Also be mindful of things that you don’t want wrinkled.
It says to lay the clothing roughly two inches away from the zipper
before you zip it back up.
So this is where I struggled.
It says you wanna press out the air by rolling it,
but no air was coming out
and I was very afraid of popping this thing.
So this is where I felt kind of stupid
cause there are only three steps.
Like, how hard could this be?
I opened up the bag again.
I like, tried to squeeze.
Squeeze the air out. I’m really just confused as to like,
why this isn’t working. But here I am doing the same exact thing.
I’m gonna roll it out and then it puffs up with air
until it actually finally does what it’s supposed to do.
So the whole time I was Kind of afraid of popping it.
Um, you do have to give it a little bit of force
to actually let the air out.
And this seriously worked way better than I ever expected.
But now I need to know how well this works with something
just a little bit heavier inside.
So you lay it down, you zip it,
you roll it, you give it a little bit of finesse, and then
I probably wouldn’t put more than three or four items in this,
but this is definitely gonna change my packing game a lot.
Congratulations, Daiso. You got me again.
