He believes in himself and he understands what he wants
and understands how to communicate that effectively to his team.
And if that works, then as a coach,
you can be chilled because you feel that you’ve done your job
and the team are doing what you want them to do.
And it’s one of those rare moments where you feel in control, uh,
of an essentially uncontrollable game.
So I think there’ll be moments where he will look a lot more, um,
stressed, where things will not go according to plan.
But so far it’s been a great start.
And I think it just backs up the high expectations
that people in Germany have of him
because of his great work with Saint Pauli,
getting them promoted, um,
in his first real job at this level,
and of course, then a huge jump up into the Premier League to Brighton.
But so far what we’ve seen looks like a great match.
And if we do one thing, if we do know one thing about Brighton
is that they’re, they’re scouting
when it comes to coaches and players is,
is very good, very smart.
And if they have identified Hercules,
somebody who they believe can take them forward,
then I think it’d be quite foolish to question them too much.
So so far I think their, their system,
their data seems to be spot on.
And he’s also a really great guy and a very good man manager to boot.
Which I think, uh,
is absolutely necessary as well. And, uh. Yeah,
looks like a really exciting prospect, the two of them together.
