Game Day Glam: Makeup Tutorial & Skin Prep Routine

Get ready with me for game day. So before we get into our makeup, we’re gonna do a little bit of skin prep because my face is healing from laying out in the day. I’m sun all weekend because I’m stuck in an office 24 for seven during the week. So on the weekends, I cook like a rotisserie chicken, taking off my mascara from work. But I feel like it’s been so freaking long since I’ve done one of these. And it really has because I’ve just been so ridiculously busy. You do not understand this. Did like a little bit of toner. And now I’m just going with some, well, with some hyaluronic acid. Cuz I just don’t want it to peel under my makeup. Cuz that’s the worst.

So as you can see, someone commented for a makeup tutorial and this comment was left on one of like, just like my game day post. So I’m gonna be doing my game day makeup tutorial and I feel like I’ve gotten pretty out of the box with my makeup recently. Like this was my makeup for the pride game. It was so cute. And too, I just feel like I’m more comfortable. There we go. I’m more comfortable with like doing a different look every game day cuz like, you know, I wanna be different all the time. Like we have so many games. I don’t wanna just look like the same person. So I’m just prepping my eyelids with concealer. Okay, we’re gonna set the eyes using my James Charles palette, using canvas, just for a nice even base. Like I said before, I do not have like I have a set base routine, but I do not have a set I routine. So pretty much my colors change all the freaking tab. So bear with me.

Also, to the person left his comment, I’m not doing the same makeup in that video I posted. If you would like that, then I would gladly do that. But today we’re gonna do something a little different. Okay, next we’re gonna be using this essentials palette from Violent Foss. I got in like Ipsy like a few years ago. We’re gonna go with sand. It’s like that light orange color and we’re just gonna, that fallout was crazy. Just sweep it right here, right above the crease and just kind of build that up. And that’s gonna be your base for everything. Alright, from here, we’re gonna be using the same palette. And I’m gonna be going over the terracotta, this orangy color. And we’re gonna put this directly in our crease, as we can see, our two colors have blended very nicely. Okay, from here, we have our orange base. I’m gonna be going back with my James Charles palette. I keep that to know the names, but it really doesn’t freaking matter. But we’re gonna use 10% off this like brownish darkest shade, taking it and deepening the crease even more from here. But I, Jason, I thought we’re gonna be using no beans is like really like dark, like kind of like almost like cinnamon to me. That is gonna go on the outer corner. I just deepen up the eyes, like to kind of create almost like a cat eye with it. I pet per, per, per. And then windshield wiper motion over direct lighting. As we could see, you’re gonna go back in with that first base color and that first orange color, kind of like tap mix and the other, and then you’re just gonna blend out those dark edges.

Currently on a clock, I should be out of here by 2:30. So I think we’re doing okay on time. But now I’m going to cut my crease and I’m not doing that on camera. So bye, crease is cut. Now you’re literally like within the beginning, I don’t have a card. Oh, I do. Using this little tart palette, I’m literally just gonna use the cream shade and you’re just going to set your cut crease. As you can see, we’re gonna blend that line out in just a second. But we did this last game and I really liked it. I wanna do like a glitter like here of the cut crease kind of like I did it last time and I ended up doing it with this. I did it with my steela like glitter glow, like liquid eyeshadow, but it’s kind of like running out and I had to like take another brush and do it. So I saw a trick where if you mix like Mysler water and like dip it in, it kind of like will create that like liner. So we’re gonna try that today.

Okay, for the glitter, we’re gonna use this Morphy palette, hit the lights, and we’re gonna be using this extremely Shimarisha right here. So I’m gonna do a little test run and then, yeah, okay, that works really freaking well. But I literally just did it in the completely wrong spot. So let’s fix that. So that actually worked so good. And now literally you’re just gonna like blend out these edges a little bit from the cut crease to your eye. Okay, now I’m priming my face with the Hard Candy energizing primer and we’re gonna get into our face makeup. And it’s 1:10, so I’m doing pretty good on time considering I have to do my hair foundation today is the elf Halo glow. I like wearing a lot of foundation on games cuz I just feel really cakey. So this is like the perfect foundation for that because you know, it still lasts, looks great with concealer and it gives me a good complexion.

Now we’re going in with our bronze stick from Color Pop. I actually really like this. Literally, I was only supposed to do the first three games of June and then I supposed to be off the last two weeks of June, but I got added to the last two games of June. So I’ve literally, I’m literally on every single game of June. Like, I love it. I love my job, but I am tired.

Then I like to contour my cheekbones with the Elf Halo Glow Contour Wand, like just like that. From here, I’m going in with my Wander Beauty Cream Blush. I got an ipsy too. I literally just dip my beauty blender in it and then just right on the cheekbones. I like need new makeup desperately. Not that anything’s wrong with my makeup. It’s just like I’m craving to try new products.

Now I’m gonna go in the, whoa, now I’m gonna go on with concealer. I use the L’real True match and I think I’m gonna get a different shade for the summer going in with our Anastasia Bronzer. As always, we’re hitting pan.

Now we’re setting with our Elf Halo Glow Setting Powder, going with our Essence Bouncy Blush. I love this because it has like a little bit of highlighter in it and I love adding my blush like with my bake because when I wipe it off, it just blends so seamlessly. Going with our Kosis eyebrow gel. I should kept my camera here the whole time, but I’m gonna do my eyeliner and I’ll be right back. While we let the eyeliner dry, just wipe off her bake, throw on some highlighter, just add some settings, right? Do not mind the hair is not done yet, but here is the completed makeup look. I think we did a really good job.
