Transforming My Health Journey: Embracing Mindful Eating & Healthy Swaps

When I was on my journey to lose over 220 pounds,
I made some mistakes along the way.
And one of those things was
not really paying attention to the ingredients that were in my foods.
I just wanted to make sure I was eating high protein
and low carbohydrate.
So I just didn’t pay attention to ingredients in my food.
So I’m really realizing
how impactful those ingredients in your foods are.
Something I’m working on. Not perfect at it,
but I’m being more mindful of it.
So I buy a lot of my stuff from Thrive Market.
Because I picked up some more stuff.
This is gonna be probably a little more on the sweet side.
Last time was more savory.
So I’m gonna show you everything that I got.
When I first bought these,
I had never tried chia seed before,
and I did not realize that this is very low carbohydrate,
but it also has protein in it.
One tablespoon of this has 3 grams of protein.
So I wanted to try chia seed.
Now I was able to try it this past weekend.
I like it. So, um,
I’m gonna make something with this.
I’m excited about it. I do love this keto pancake mix.
You guys know I make mug cakes with it.
It’s a lifesaver. Plus,
it’s got protein in it. Sometimes I get a craving for a brownie,
so I got the sugar free brownie mix.
I tried the swerve one, which Is pretty good,
so we’ll give this one a try.
Usually buy it just like a really cheap sugar free syrup,
and it’s probably not the best for me.
So I picked up this organic pancake syrup.
I’m excited to try it. It’s zero grams of sugar.
I absolutely love the mosh bars.
These are low in sugar, but have 13 grams of protein.
I got the Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch
and the Blueberry Almond Crunch.
Y’all know we gotta taste test these,
and I have to say,
Mamo has been begging for a restock on all her bars we sent her.
So if these are good, we’re definitely gonna have to send these to her.
I have the, um,
cookie dough crunch that I tell you guys is so good.
I love that.
Oh, this is already looking so delicious,
y’all. Look at that.
It smells like a blueberry muffin.
We are gonna love this. I just know it.
mm hmm, mm hmm.
That’s so good. Let’s try the peanut butter chocolate crunch.
I don’t know how these have a crunch.
It’s just I. I don’t know what it is.
I just like the texture of this. To be honest.
Some of these bars can get a weird texture, but I like this one.
Hmm.
Yes, ma’am.
So got a grain free, low sugar granola.
This is from Thrive Market.
This one is vanilla raspberry.
I love this. I already dug into it.
I like To use this on top of yogurt,
it’s really good. Adds a great texture.
And then Catalina Crunch is a low sugar cereal.
I already dug into this one, too.
I love most of the flavors.
The cinnamon, it’s like cinnamon toast or something like that,
and the Honey Graham are two of my favorites, though.
