Is Ardo Yulat being blacklisted from the Turkish national team? If you haven’t seen the video, Vincezzo Motella, the Turkish national team coach, takes a bib away from Ardegu Lab during a training session, gives it to yusufyhazija and basically kind of shuns Arthur Gulad from the training session.
A lot of people are unsure when this training session occurred. It was prior to the Portugal game or for the upcoming Czech Republic game. But based on some context clues, you could tell when this happened. On the top right, you could see armania genre, meaning that it’s live in Germany. And at the bottom, you can see Austria, which is Austria 1 against Poland. Polania 3,1. And this game happened on Friday. So most likely this training session was prior to the Portugal game.
So begs the question, why did Arthur Gill ad and also Canon Yielvas not start in the Portugal game? After the Portugal game, the coach Montela goes to the media and says that Arthur told him that he felt a little fatigue, maybe picked up an injury after the Georgia game, and to play it safe, they decided not to start him. Now, it doesn’t make much sense because he decides to bring him on in the last 20 minutes of the game when Turkey are down three now. And so now a lot of Turkish fans and also a lot of fans have no idea what’s going on right now. There’s a lot of theories floating around, and I don’t really know what’s a belief. The craziest one I’ve heard is that the Turkish Football Federation is telling Bontela to play more gullet Serai players and the lineup, which is why Ada and Yiellus got dropped. And that’s probably the craziest one of them all. A lot of fan art fans think that the Turkish football federations out to get them. But let’s be real here. Arda is not a fan art player anymore. The connections are gone. He is just a Rama jib player right now. And so the idea that, you know, they want to play more gala players instead of finite players, and that’s why they dropped Arda. It makes no sense. I mean, he’s gone. He’s not on finite anymore.
I think a realistic theory that makes a lot more sense is that Montela is a very tough coach. Prior to this job, Montela coached in the Super League for Adana Demise Sport. And he was a great coach. They got great results. But he did have a lot of falling out with many players, including Balote Li. And that eventually basically led him to kind of get sacked. I don’t know if he let go on his own terms or not. I’m not too sure about that. But anyway, that ended up landing them this job. So I wouldn’t be surprised if after the Georgia game, when Arthur looked very tired, possibly injured, he tells the coach that, he tells the physio that. And then the next two days he shows up in training looking 100%. It might have rub Montello the wrong way. Now obviously people are not gonna like hearing that because it’s, oh, Arthur is a star player, you know, you gotta give him special treatment. He wants to train, let him train this and that.
But, you know, some cultures are hard headed. Some cultures have different ways of reacting to things. And I think this is how Montel decided to go with it. If you look at some of the player interviews for the Turkish team, you know, they don’t even know why they’re not getting any playing time. And a lot of them are kind of upset. You know, most of them have even played a single minute in this euros. And Jane Tolson himself even said that he doesn’t really know why he’s not playing or a lot of players aren’t playing, period. It’s kind of just the coach’s thoughts. It’s his tactics, it’s his whatever. And so, I mean, it is what it is. Obviously, it’s very frustrating as a Turkish supporter like myself to see that the team and the players kind of have no idea what’s going on coaching wise. That’s not great. That’s very frustrating.
The Portuguese game, I was frustrated. That good lad and Yuvas did not start. I wasn’t fully angry with the performance. I think that own goal completely killed us. I think we were playing good up to that. And after that, I saw no way of us coming back.
I think the other frustrating thing is obviously that if our attack is so fatigue, which is why we benched most of it, why did we not venture defense? I mean, summit our center back, look tired up. Look at him look tired. Bad passing, bad decision making from both fronts. I mean, I just don’t get why, you know, you would switch up the attack but not the defense if they’re so tired. It doesn’t really make much sense to me.
