Review and Analysis of ‘It Ends With Us’: Casting, Book Adaptation, and Awkward Moments

I did it I got him to see the movie
honestly no complaints
I thought it was pretty good
the true litmus test that you liked it
you didn’t fall asleep that’s my barometer
I fully intended to go into this movie
without knowing any of the drama that’s going on
but of course TikTok’s algorithm said no
this is for you
the gist of the situation is that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni
the main characters have some creative differences
if you wouldn’t have said that
I would have had no idea i’mma start with the things that I did like
number one casting
Lily Blossom Bloom was casted perfectly
her adult version was the twin of her kid version
no no no
that was AI that was not an actress
second thing contrary to what some people say
I do think that they stuck to the book as much as possible in a movie world
they’re gonna have to leave some parts out
and I took notes during the entire movie to see what they did leave out
I came to the conclusion that none of it was detrimental to the story
that’s all that matters now
what I didn’t like
all the parts that I thought felt awkward and cringe worthy in here
were delivered the same way in the movie
like when Lily tried to kick off her dress in a sexy way
that was not sexy that didn’t get you going no
you don’t want me to try that out don’t ever
like some noodles now
as good of a dude as Atlas is
he made me visceraly cringe at the line that he delivered towards the end
give em your best retake of it
if you’re gonna fall in love with somebody else
fall in love with me
ladies and gentlemen you have just seen it ends with us
