8-Hour Baby Back Ribs Adventure: A Barbecue Season Story

oh the sun is out
Linen’s on it is barbecue season
I am staying at my friend’s absolutely gorgeous house here in Oxfordshire
and we have got a brand new barbecue come smoker
to try out some baby back ribs that we’re gonna do for eight hours
so if you need some barbecue recipes for this summer
try this one out this is a serious undertaking
so we’ve got the tomato Joe barbecue
a blowtorch a little helper
and our meats been seasoning in brown sugar
kosher salt black pepper
smoked paprika garlic powder
onion powder ground mustard
cinnamon celery
salt and cayenne pepper anything I’ve ever seen
once you lick your coals with your blowtorch
let them get up the temperature and then carefully pour them in
let this heat up to smoking temperature
while we let the barbecue get up to temperature
I took care of the important things
I play with the dog once the barbecue’s up to smoking temperature
the meat goes in you leave it for 3 to 4 hours whilst turning it
once it’s time to wrap the ribs
it’s been for about four hours now
oh ho ho wrapping your ribs hurts
to seal in some of that smoky flavour
you can use tin foil or Parchment paper while you’re doing it
so while the food is smoking
we are going to the pub it’s been about eight hours
wow look
how’s that we unwrapped it about an hour before this
added some reggae reggae sauce to the final cook
whilst making some traditional size to go with your barbecue
sweet potato fries green salad and some corn
look at that I mean it
it just pulls off eight hours and eight pints later
we were so ready to eat this
and there you have it if you have the world’s most expensive barbecue
you too can make 8 hour baby back ribs
