Let me show you why everyone should be vacuuming out their AC.
Drain line. Look how gross.
This will eventually clog the drain line.
This is such a common cause of your AC going out in Florida.
When your drain line clogs,
water will back up and either flood your house
or trip this float valve. Once the float valve is tripped,
your AC will stop working.
Don’t ever use bleach. It’s bad for the pipes and the air handler.
You can also use vinegar, but I think drain cleaner does a better job.
