As we were starting to do music seriously,
the person who hooked me up is T boss from TLC.
Criss Cross and TLC were, like,
the first groups to blow up in Atlanta.
Like, they have real deals.
They want TV. Like,
the real channels. Seeing people who we knew on TV on Arsenio Hall.
Criss Cross was on tour with Michael Jackson.
It showed that there was, like,
opportunity for us to be creative and have fun,
cause we knew that we saw them doing this.
We saw them making this shit.
I got in the business because of Teyon
asking me to bring my group down to a video audition for this
on Baby, Baby, Baby.
And it goes back to that same Atlanta principal.
It’s like, when you recognize that someone has it,
make sure you give them more of what they need
so that it can grow and they can have enough
to be able to give some more to somebody else.
