So the biggest change from NHL 24 to NHL 25 is this new Ice Q system.
But what exactly is it? Well,
ice Q is gonna be the brand new gameplay intelligence system,
and it comes with three key components.
The first one being next gen Vision Control.
This is a new and dynamic skating system
that’s gonna allow you to see the ice better.
The one example I’ve been able to see that I really am excited about
is when you’re a defender
and you’re walking the blue line in the offensive zone,
it’s gonna be a lot easier to walk the blue line
while actually facing the goal
and being able to get a shot off quickly.
The second feature is empowered AI.
And thank god. This is going to be a complete overhaul of the A I C P U.
System. And while obviously we need to play the game to see if it works,
any improvements on the A I.
Are going to be fine with me.
And finally, we have reactive actions.
This is going to involve more responsive movements from players
in key situations. So in key situations,
like one on ones, you’re gonna be able to perform a reactive action
that’s gonna help you in that play specifically.
We’ll get more details on all three of these
as we get closer to NHL 25.
