This is such a valid feeling and how I do feel
I have peace in the Middle East.
Literally my whole life. I have written letter,
I have stood in protest decade after decade after decade.
And I do think a lot of what’s happening on the internet
is this incredible distrust,
this belief that it is hopeless.
And I think that’s also why it’s so important not to flatten it,
not to use falsehood or oversimplify it,
because there is less hope.
We actually don’t speak about the complexity of it,
but I totally hear where this is coming from.
