this is how I did the vocals on my song Beauty is Blinding
first of all I use the Bluebird by Blue mics
which sadly they don’t make anymore
so I make alt rock music so of course I double track the vocals
yeah the first one’s a bit drier
there’s really just DSR EQ and compressor
and I used logic stock plugin because I get easily overwhelmed
and the amount of plugins there are in the world overwhelms me
then just send it to a reverb and delay
the second one has a bit more going on
this one’s the same as the first one
except it’s being sent to bus 12
which has a tremolo or reverb like flanger
all that stuff
and for the choruses I added two extra vocal just to make things more lush
and those are pretty much the same as the first one
except they have a little bit of flanger
so here’s what they sound like together
and then just added some harmony vocals
