Succulent Steak Bites over Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Chimichurri Sauce: A Step-by-Step Guide

These steak bites over garlic mashed potatoes
with chimichurri sauce is the perfect dinner idea.
I made this sometime last year and had to run it back.
Here’s how I made it. First
I started by coating my bone in rib eye with olive oil
and I seasoned both sides with salt and pepper.
My skillet I added some oil along with my steak.
To cook my steak I’ll be using my Thermopro digital meat thermometer.
This thermometer has a one second response time
along with the large auto rotating display.
I flip my steak over a few times
and let it cook until it reaches my desired temperature.
I then let it rest on a cutting board and added some butter on top.
I cut the steak into bite size pieces
and let it cook for a little bit longer
until it reaches my desired temperature.
For my mashed potatoes, I bought some yellow potatoes.
Once they were softened
I drained them and I smashed them with my potato smasher.
Then added a little butter,
some minced garlic, heavy cream,
salt, pepper.
I gave that a nice stir and this is how they came out.
