I will never forget the day
I finally got approved to start making money on YouTube.
I was a sophomore in high school.
I had just finished AP US history class,
which I was not very good at.
I was walking out of class,
checked my phone,
saw that email that I can now start making money from ads on my videos,
and the rest is history.
Which thank god cause I wasn’t very good at the other kind of history.
I’m so excited
and I’ve been making a living for myself off of YouTube ever since.
YouTube has let me accumulate a dedicated audience
that has grown with me and my interest over the years,
rather than niching down into one specific content format
and just crossing my fingers the algorithm serves it out.
As a long time creator, I’ve earned money so many different ways,
but nothing has been as consistent and reliable
as the absence from YouTube video.
And it’s completely on your own terms.
From ad revenue to YouTube Premium revenue to channel membership,
etc. Etc.
There are tons Of ways to monetize your channel.
It’s such a great feeling to make money off of creative work
instead of trying to sell random stuff to people. People.
I’ve been creating content my entire adult life,
and it wouldn’t be possible without you.
