This is the amiver gamer
doing a one minute review of Black Myth Wukong.
Despite what some may tell you,
this indeed is a souls like with very challenging combat and bosses.
Now that’s not a bad thing by any means.
In fact,
this is one of the best souls likes that we’ve had in many years.
What really separates this one from the rest is the fast paced combat
and generally forgiving mechanics.
You have a variety of skills to mix and match
to find the perfect build for your playstyle,
and you can switch it up at any time without penalty.
As far as difficulty, I wouldn’t describe it as easy,
but there’s definitely
some features that help alleviate unnecessary frustration.
Like when you die, you don’t lose anything,
you just respawn at the last shrine you rested.
But it’s still not a walk in the park
unless you’ve mastered this formula elsewhere.
Also, the amount of content this game offers is very impressive.
You can easily pour over 30 hours into a single playthrough.
Overall, Blacksmith Wukong is outstanding
and proves exactly why the genre isn’t going anywhere.
So if you’re up for the challenge then you have to check this one out.
9 out of 10. This sack of mine can barely fit you all!
