Let’s rank the jobs I’ve had and why I quit
as someone who has had six jobs and has never been fired.
And we’re also gonna pretend like I didn’t make the list
go from 5 to 7,
because this is the second time I’m recording this today.
I’m not gonna fix it. In last place,
a phone carrier. I won’t say the name of it
because I did send an NDA in order to get my last check,
which I’m pretty sure is illegal.
But I also read online that NDAs are void if, like,
there’s illegal activity involved.
So i’mma just leave it at that.
Number five. I can’t really complain too much about it.
It was my first job. It was while I was in high school,
and it was a place where
the majority of the people there were high schoolers,
so we’re just messing around.
And that was Little Caesars.
I will say it wasn’t the worst and it wasn’t the best.
Like, you’re.
You’re working customer service.
You’re working with food. Some days are fun,
some days. Wanna jump into the oven?
Fourth place, Walmart.
I don’t even think I need to explain this one.
Customers were the worst. My managers.
I called my manager an inappropriate word in the office one time.
That’s how bad it was. To be completely transparent,
he gave me permission. I was about to say something,
and I was like, never mind,
you’re gonna get me in trouble.
He’s like, no,
I’ll let you say it. Like,
I won’t get in trouble for anything you say right now.
And I was like, fine,
I said it. And my other manager that was in there laughed. And, yeah,
anyway, don’t recommend that one.
Third place was a movie theater.
I used to work at a movie theater.
It was fun, okay?
It was again, almost like high school,
except I was in college,
and it was just a whole bunch of people around my age.
We basically just mess around at the movie theater.
Except the reason I quit this one
was because I had a manager who was treating me like absolute shit.
And when I say absolute shit,
I mean other co workers were coming to me asking, like,
why are you letting this manager talk to you like that?
Why are you letting them do that to you?
I was like, you’re right.
I up and left, but before I did,
I yelled at him in the office.
These last two, hands down my favorite jobs ever.
I could honestly go, like,
switch these back and forth.
And I, like,
I don’t know where to put which one as one and two.
I rank Disneyland as number two because it was fun, okay?
Like, yeah,
it’s work. But I got to work at Disneyland over the spring of 2020,
which, unfortunately,
was also the spring that we had another major world event happen.
And I had To close the parks.
And they were like, everyone go home.
They weren’t fired, but we were just, like,
laid off. But I got to work and meet some of the coolest people ever.
And when I was in middle school,
I said, at some point in my life,
I want to work at Disneyland,
like, for fun,
like, for a summer or something.
And now I could say that I.
I did it. I made it happen.
The one I rank number one is subbing,
which is currently what I do now.
I substitute teach. And it’s honestly fun,
it’s easy. That’s why ranked it as number one,
because it’s fun and it’s easy.
But Disneyland was just like, yeah,
fun and easy, but this is more of a job.
And Disneyland, I was.
Feel like I just messed around all day anyway.
Tell me what your worst job was.
In the comments. I wanna know.
Tell me the whole story. I, I wanna hear it all.
