Dune and Avatar are the same movie.
A young man travels from his home world to an alien one
where the planet is mined for a precious
super expensive mineral.
He eventually joins the indigenous population and learns their ways.
Seen as a basic primitive people,
the locals are actually quite advanced and connected to nature.
He falls in love with one of the locals
and becomes their tribal leader.
After riding a larger than average beast on the planet,
young man
soon rises to lead the natives in an attack against their oppressors,
culminating in a one on one fight.
Both films have quasi religious undertones,
and although not exactly the same,
you can still definitely tell that.
