I go to the back of my closet,
all the way to the back, and I move everything.
I’m making a mess cause I have to get to that box,
open the box. There’s a CD there.
Get the CD. I’m glad I still have a CD player,
cause a lot of people don’t anymore,
but I still have my CD player.
I put in CD, I press play. I press play
and I hear the word of Allah.
انا هنا الحمد لله رب العالمين الرحمن الرحيم
and then I realized what I’ve been listening to what has been
protecting me
is the same thing that I had to say to me in my career what I’ve been
listening to that gave me the peace
that gave me the Serenity
that took me out of that stressful situation with the words of Allah
