Unveiling the Truth: A Battle of Betrayal and Deception in the Music Industry

And here we go again, folks.
It’s Kelly once again coming on here to defend myself.
So for those of you who may already know,
and for those of you who are tuning in
after being sued by my soon to be ex husband,
Zac Brown. Yes,
from Zac Brown Band for a poem that I posted back in may
and dealing with meritless legal M P R.
Attacks for months now, I chose to countersue Zac and his company
for the music video of his song
Beautiful Drug featuring Avicii remix.
Now, I’m doing this
because they used video footage
from our private wedding party in Nashville
for his music video for Commercial Gain.
In the video, they replaced me with a lookalike model
who’s seen behaving promiscuously, irresponsibly,
unprofessionally, and recklessly.
And today, I found out that a media outlet posted an exclusive
regarding the recent filings Zach’s team made in court
regarding his answer to the counterclaim.
And after months of denying that he used our wedding party footage
in his music video,
they finally admit to using footage from our wedding party.
And after all of the ridiculous PR punches they have unleashed on me,
they finally admit the truth that I have been saying since day one.
Now, the factual inaccuracies and the documents they filed
will be handled appropriately in court,
where the truth will come out.
Furthermore,
many of the allegations that Zach’s team shared in court documents
and in this press article
Are incongruent and appalling,
and here’s why. One
let’s not forget that on February 21st,
I accepted the divorce documents that were publicly filed by Zach.
And then the next day, on February 22nd,
this music video was posted.
Coincidence?
2. Our private wedding party was not held at a bar.
It was held at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville on November 18th, 2023.
And that was nine days before Zac told me he wanted a divorce
over Zoom. 3
we hired a private wedding planner to help us curate the party theme
to be 70s rock and roll. Hundreds of people came to this party,
friends and family, and they know that I am speaking the truth.
4. Our private wedding video originally included me,
but in his edit of his music video he released for commercial gain,
he replaced me with a lookalike Model.
5 even if the footage of the look alike model is from 2018,
why would someone choose to use outdated footage
and interlace it with their private wedding party video?
6. At the end of this statement,
I’ve included a few photos
from mine and Zach’s Nashville wedding party,
as well as the comparison photos that were filed in court
of the model and myself. The truth is in the evidence,
but you can decide for yourself.
7 in Zach’s answer,
he claims the decision to use this footage in the music video
was made by ZBB’s creative director,
Mister Lord, who had full creative authority over the Video
independently of Mister Brown.
So let me get this straight.
After admitting to using our private wedding party footage,
Zach decides to take zero accountability for his music video
and purposely puts it in writing that Mister Tyler Lord,
who was hired to record our private wedding party video,
is the one who had full creative authority.
Now, I would like to pose a question for those of you listening.
Would Zack, who has been a very successful country music artist,
who has built a 20+ year image and brand,
give up creative control of his unreleased song
with international sensation Avicii,
which is based on a remix of his 2016 Billboard number one track
Beautiful Drug? Allow some unknown media contractor to take the reins?
If it appears to be what it looks like,
Zac and ZBC admit to using our private wedding footage from Nashville,
but now they don’t wanna take any responsibility
for how the video was created.
They even go so far as to accuse me
of being the one in charge of Zac’s music video,
which is beyond ridiculous
because I never consented to my image or likeness
being used for his commercial gain.
Last but not least, I would like to bring up
a very important part to this whole discussion.
They state that Mister Brown
ultimately did not want his family in this music video.
And let’s not forget that back on May 18th,
within 24 hours of filing a public lawsuit against Me
for posting a poem.
Zach brought this whole situation to the public arena
by stating in a press article that
after much deliberation, I took steps necessary to protect my family
from online harassment and speculation.
My only hope is for us to keep private matters private.
So if that is the case,
then why would he use the footage from our private wedding party
in his music video, which was a Celebration
with hundreds of our family members and friends,
and replace his wife in the video with a lookalike model?
Zach clearly says one thing and then does another,
claiming that he wants privacy and to protect his family,
yet he is doing the exact opposite.
I never wanted any of this to go public,
as all of this has been so incredibly painful for me.
But I will continue to stand up for myself,
and no matter what silly PR tactics they used to hurt me,
I will continue to use my platform to share the truth.
And to everyone listening,
please go read the court documents.
The truth is in the evidence.
And as always, thank you for listening.
