Last weekend I was able to go to my local Cinemark
and I’m in the mood to watch a couple of movies.
I got Alien Romulus, I got trapped.
Alien Romulus starts at 7:30,
trap starts at 9:45. It’s gonna be a little close,
but I think I can do it. I bought both tickets.
I believe in myself. They’ve got these Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cups.
I already have one but they look great.
First up is Alien Romulus in Cinemark
XD the biggest screen possible.
I also grabbed me the biggest popcorn I could
cause I knew I was in for two movies.
Alien Romulus done.
Now going to trap and honestly I time this pretty good.
So first up we have Alien Romulus.
I am dodging this acid left and right
cause I know it’s what I’m gonna get in the comment section.
I was not a fan of this movie.
It played more like aliens the ride
the movie than it did an actual movie.
And while I’m always on board to have a fun time in the theater,
I wanna have like a good motivation as to why.
I ended up giving Alien Romulus a two out of 5.
I’m just as shocked as you are,
but man, I just wanted so much more out of this movie.
But then I went and saw trap and I had a decent time with this one.
You’re gonna get the Shyamalan weird dialogue we
men expecting from this movie And honestly,
Shyamalan does his best hitchhiker in attempt here.
And I think it succeeds more than it fails.
I gave trap a three and a half out of five.
I know a lot of people had a problem with the third act.
I didn’t have that problem.
I had a enjoyable time with this movie.
