Rebuilding Hope: A Story of Resilience and Community Support After Hurricane Barry

We are on the final stretch of our house rebuild from Hurricane Barry.
A lot of you remember the story of the young lady with five children
whose house was completely destroyed.
Please, I really want to thank Eric and his team of carpenters
who did all the work. Amos was the chief organiser.
Want to thank him tremendously.
Came today to finish up my painting.
Still some more to be done.
We’re still looking to do some expansion.
But thankfully
she’s back in that area where her and her kids can now sleep
and sleep in peace. So thanks for all the support.
We will continue. There are still a lot of people who need the support.
So one by one, we will get it done.
Number you’re wondering if there’s still need for help,
there is. Remember,
back to school time. The kids need to go back out to school.
They would have lost almost everything because of Hurricane Bertha.
So definitely you can still contribute.
You can still reach out.
It is important that we put all together to drive this family forward.
Thanks to Miss Akrina and thanks to everyone.
