From Rookie to Barber: My Journey to Success in the Haircutting Industry

How long I’ve been cutting?
I start cutting hair in 20, 2017.
I was cutting my own hair before.
I think I cut one of my boys.
That’s it. We practicing for the summertime.
We on the field. I had just cut my hair.
My partner was like,
damn, bro,
who cut you up? Shit, me,
he say, man,
cut me up. No, no.
I’m like, bro,
I ain’t cut nobody up for real. For.
I only cut my hair. I’mma try it, though. Whatever.
He liked it. Another teammate,
he seen it. Damn, flock,
you couldn’t. Come on,
next one. Come on,
come on. So I look up,
I’m the team barber. After that,
I didn’t graduate it.
Tried to be a coach. That really wasn’t working out.
I’m like, man,
I’m about to just go with what I know, bro.
Told my mom. I’m like,
man, my.
I quit my job. How you gonna pay your half of the rent?
Just trust me. Just trust me.
I took that leap of faith, bro.
And at this. At the time of when I was cutting in college,
I was charging seven. Now I’m at seventy.
I’m, look at this in the future,
and I’m be like, damn,
I was only charging 70. What
I mean. But you just progressively elevate.
If you got your mind set on something,
just go for it. And it ain’t gonna be no overnight success.
I’ve been at this for seven years now.
If It’s on your mind. And as you listening to this,
whatever you thinking about,
that’s what you need to be doing.
So many people say, damn, bro,
but what if it don’t work? What if it do?
