A Journey Through the Land of Oz: A Collection of Wizard of Oz Board Games

Do you have any Oz themed board games?
Like Ozopoly or something?
Lol why yes, yes we do.
There are tons of Wizard of Oz board games out there,
and many of them are represented in my Wizard of Oz collection
beginning all the way back in 1922.
And here’s what that board game looks like.
This is a classic for Oz collectors.
I’ve never actually played it,
but it looks pretty basic
and it includes some really great illustrations.
I love this one. We have the 1939 card game.
This was produced in the UK and these cards are stunning.
We have the rank and Bass Wizard of Oz game from 1961,
based on the vintage cartoon tales of The Wizard of Oz.
We have the off to see the wizard board game from 1968.
We do have Wizard of Oz Monopoly,
which is my favorite way to play monopoly.
We have the Pressman game,
the trivia game.
The SCI Fi Channel made a Tin Man board game that was a press gift.
I have a role playing card game
and quite possibly
the most challenging Wizard of Oz game I’ve ever played.
The Ravensburger game that came out a couple years ago.
This game has a steep learning curve
and it took Nick and I forever to learn how to play it,
and we never actually finished it successfully.
Have any of you ever played a Wizard of Oz board game,
and if so, what’s your favorite comment? And let me know
