China is home to the most industrial robots in the world.
But here at the World Robot Conference in Beijing,
it’s clear that rather than factory machines,
human like robots, humanoids are taking off.
They can play music, cook,
serve you a soft drink, work in the living room.
These are just some of the examples of the 27 humanoids
being revealed at the conference.
There’s still a long way to go
in terms of actually working in your own home.
But it’s stiff competition for Tesla,
who is also here with his Optimus inside a clear box.
