Get ready with me. Using all the goodies that Cover Girl set me, let’s wear makeup together the best. So they sent me their 3 true blend skin enhancers. And these are supposed to be for primer and base. And honestly, I don’t know if I’m supposed to use all three at the same time, but that’s what we’re gonna do today.
We’re gonna start off with plush plump, which is supposed to be for replenishing. I’m not gonna put it directly in my face. I’m just gonna squeeze some onto my hand. Hello, there we go. So I’m just gonna put a little bit. Feels very refreshing.
Next. Oh my God, my hands are so slippery now. Oh my gosh, I’m gonna go in. This is the poor erasing formula. So I’m just gonna go in with a little bit of that. The way I’m struggling with all the packaging because my hands are so slippery right now is insane. Alright, I’m just gonna go in with the primer. Oh my gosh, everything just feels so nice on my skin.
Now that we’re done with our skin prep, I’m gonna go in with the skin tint. And they sent me two different shades. We have 10 and we have medium tan. And I think I’m gonna go in with medium tan first and see how well this matches up with my skin tone. Right now, I kind of like that everything is in a pump bottle. It makes me feel like I’m a professional or something. Okay, I just pick some up on my beauty blender and I’m just going to put out my face and see how this goes. Okay, I got a little impulsive and I put the entire shade all over my face. I think it’s a little light for me for right now, so I’m just going to take some of the tan tone and just mix that in to even out my complexion right now. This is definitely helping a little bit with evening it out. I will say I’ve never used a formula like this. Like it looks like the pigment is in little beads and it’s mixed with oil. I don’t really know how that works, but it’s giving me a beautiful tint. It did not send over a concealer or a setting powder. So I’m just going to do those two steps off camera, set everything in place and I will be back. Everything is set in place. And I will say, I do think that the skin tin is a little, just a tad bit too light for me. So I’m definitely gonna have to experiment with mixing the shades a little better. But my base is looking absolutely stunning right now. Absolutely stunning.
Now, they did send me an eyeliner, but it is their Micro Eye Pencil, which is meant for tight lining. So we’re not gonna be doing a wing today, but we’re going to tight line the eyes and make them look gorgeous and sultry. They were not joking when they said micro liner. I’m just gonna start by first highlighting my lash line and then I will do my waterline. Eyes are all tight lined and I don’t know, but there’s just something about tight lining your eyes for a girl with brown eyes that just makes them pop a little bit more.
They sent me the shadow sticks, which I am really excited about. They sent me a red one, a brown one and more of a golden toned one. And the red kind of matches my shirt. I’m thinking I could do more of a neutral eye with these two and do a pop of red, but we’re gonna come up with something because these are just too great not to use. I’m gonna start by putting this maroon shade in my crease and just finger it out with a brush to get that cat eye look and just deepen up the crease of it. These are also sparkly, which is so exciting.
So now that we put the maroon in the crease and she’s looking gorgeous and blended out, we’re gonna pop in some red on the lid and tie it all together. So we added on the red, which turned out to be more of a pinkish shade. And I’m really loving how the two colors blended together. And I do still really want to use this gold shimmery shade. So I’m just gonna pop that on my inner corner and see how that goes.
For mascara, I’m gonna reach for the dark chocolate brown mascara because I’ve never tried a brown mascara before and I’m really excited to do it. So I’m gonna grab this one. I already curled my lashes so let’s pop it on. I am usually A1 mascara for my daily routine kind of girl, but I love how the Covergirl mascara made my lashes look. They do not look too heavy. They were not clumping and they look so wispy and natural, but definitely accentuated. I love it.
Now we don’t have a blush, but hear me out, this gloss that they sent me is called Sunrise Blush. And I feel like that’s a sign for me to put it on my cheeks. So let’s try it out. Apologies, my light died because I’ve been here yapping for too long. But let’s pop this on our cheek. Okay, unfortunately, that did not do anything from my cheek other than make it really glowy. So I’m gonna go pop some blush on off camera and I’ll be back to actually put the lip gloss on my lips as it was intended. They sent three shades of lip gloss and the one that I was about to put on my cheeks is the darkest one that they sent. So I’m gonna pop this one on my lips and see how that looks. The gloss is so pretty. Do you see that shine? So pretty. Makes my lips look like glass. And one thing that I hate in a lip gloss is if it is sticky. And let me tell you, this is not, and this is my full face using all the products that Cover Girl sent me. And let me tell you, I’m in love with how my base looks. It is so smooth. That skin tint was, and the eye look is gorgeous. And it barely took me anytime at all. I loved every single product that I tried, and I am so grateful that you sent all of them over for me. Cover girl, thank you so much. Thank you for keeping me company, besties, while I do my makeup and follow for more.
