Unlocking the Luminosity: A Deep Dive into the Hourglass Ambient Collection and the Magic of Lit-From-Within Glow

This is a super great question. And I actually love this question cuz you guys all know my love and my obsession for the Hourglass Ambient Collection, Akada bronzers, blushes, powders, and yes, all of them do have different uses. Most of them have different uses, but it’s like subtle, but they are definitely still noticeable. So let’s talk about it. Okay, so if we’re talking their three pan palette, which just have like the lighter shades in it, they all do have different textures and they do give different effects to the skin, which is really cool to know. And I feel like not a lot of people know that. I do feel like personally there are subtle differences, but you could definitely tell if you are paying attention.

For example, this is the shade dim light. It’s the first shade in the elephant palette. But this one I think is discontinued. Dim light is a neutral peach beige powder that blurs imperfections and highlights a radiant complexion with the perfect balance of warm and cool tones. And that is so true. So for example, I’ll take this on my brush and I will just put it on my cheek and it just gives such a soft focus effect act. And it also gives a slight luminosity to the skin, giving that lit from within effect. If you go on their site, it’ll literally tell you what each shade does. I don’t wanna sit here and bore you by reading all the descriptions. But if we’re taking a closer look at the rest of my palette, you see this one has a bronze ear shade. And this is gonna work more like a bronze highlight. And then this middle shade is gonna work really great at just kind of blurring the skin and adding that lit from within.

Now, if you’re taking another palette, which this one’s my favorite for my skin tone because of the fact of this like white pearlescent shade. I like to mix these two. This one’s like more of a Milky Way white and this is more of like a brighter pearlescent. You see the glow it gives. They all do slightly different tasks, but they all give you that like ring light effect to your face. So it’s like you’re walking around with a ring light around your face all day. These are meant to give you that lit from within effect, and they truly do. That’s why this formula is so unique. No, this is not sponsored. Truly wish it was from how much I truly love and use and abuse these pallets. But that’s just the fact of it. They are so beautiful. And actually on their website too, it literally says, it’s supposed to give you that like lit from within effect as if you have like perfect lighting everywhere you go. I love mixing all three of them together and they just give you the benefits of all three. It is absolutely stunning. And again, if you want it to be brighter, you can go in with a brighter shade from the ambient collection.

I’m not even using the blushes and brunzers right now. I’m just using, well, I already did earlier, but I’m just using the lighting powders. But a few weeks ago, I ran into a fellow, a makeup artist, and she is like a master pro mea, so talented. And her makeup was done that day personally. And I looked at her and I was like, what is on your cheeks? I need to know now, because why are you glowing from within? Your skin looks so healthy. What did she tell me? Ambient powders. So I can tell from a mile away when these are in use because they’re that good. Yes, they’re pricey, but I can promise you will not regret it. And honestly, I’ve been using this year, like two years at this point. Okay, I use this all last year and we’re running on at least the rest of it this year. And I just hit pan on the bronzer. Just hit pan, and there’s still product left. It still bronzes my skin to perfection. It’s gonna set your makeup, but again, you’re not gonna look chalky or matte or flat because these are adding glow to your skin.

I don’t know. I just think these are the best formula ever and they’re so solid. I can always rely on it. I’ll take this pallet with me on vacation and I wouldn’t, I would feel comfortable not bringing any other powders with me. Just this one palette would do me justice and that’s what I use every day.

Sorry for the rambling, but I’m just super passionate about it. I am using their dual ended hourglass brush. I think hourglass is such a solid brand for being high end. It’s worth the price point in my opinion. I think all their formulas are so well thought out and so well done. So yeah, just thought I’d share that. Thanks for asking that question. Saya blabbed my mouth a lot, but again, passionate about these products specifically. So hope this helped.
