Microsoft finally added a feature to Windows 11
that macos has had for a long time now.
This isn’t brand new. Microsoft added this in Build 22H2.
But here’s what it is. In File Explorer,
we can now open new tabs. So for example,
if I right click on this folder,
I can say open in new tab.
There we have it. It’s in a new tab.
Then if I am back in my original folder here
and I want to take a file
and I want to drag that file to my other folder,
we can just drag it up to the tab
and then we can drag it into any folder here that we want.
I know it’s super simple,
but Windows was missing this feature for a very long time.
So I’m happy to have it.
