Summer Glow: My Updated Makeup Routine featuring Dior Backstage Foundation

Let’s do my updated makeup routine. I have sung the phrases of the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter for the longest time, and I absolutely love it. But I feel like now that it’s summer, I just keep seeing this like over shimmer on my face that I’m not necessarily crazy about. So I was doing some searches online, got this Dior backstage face and body foundation. And honestly, I’m loving it. This is like I’ve had it for about a week now and I wanna see its phrases. I still love the Charlotte Tilbury. I just feel like it’s a little bit more shimmery than what I’m wanting at the current moment, especially like I have a breakout right here on my chin and it’s just not the move for me at the moment, you know, like I don’t wanna be like, hey, have a breakout look at it cuz it’s all shimmery. So just gonna blend this in.

And then the rest of my makeup routine is the same, but we’ll just do it just for fun season, right? I like using my hands when I’m bonding it in, but I put way too much on. I’ve said before that it’s really hard for me to use the screen on my camera, not prove right today. Okay, I love the way that it looks like. I feel like it like matches my skin perfectly. And it’s a good like foundation, but it’s not feeling like it’s like taking my horse or anything like that. Plus it’s super hot here like and humid and all of those things. So maybe the show until there is just not the move for summer.

Okay, use my closest concealer that I always use. One lesson as a side note, like I’ve said before, I live in South Texas, so it’s very similar to the weather in Orlando. And as such, if the makeup wears well here, it’s gonna wear world there. I use this one size Ultra Pink translucent setting powder. Well, it’s not translucent, but you know what I mean. Setting powder, bake that under my eyes and then I’ll use my dipstick, which I need to order a new one of. And I think that I’m gonna order a shade darker on that one.

I said in my previous makeup routine video that you could, I could have on a shade darker. I think I need to, especially now in the summer time. Okay, cut that off. Use this dibs stick, the desert island dual. I’m sure you’ve seen it unless you’ve been living under a rock. Go across there. Here, I’m like on the plastic part of it. So it’s time he’s a thinner brush to like contour renewals.

But like, see, I feel like it’s a butter 3rd foundation. I was shocked at the price of this. Like for Dior, I wanna say it was the same price as what I pay for like my two faced foundations in the past or Charlotte Tilbury. So it’s not really like any difference in price there. And for me, I’ve always like struggle with like cystic acne or something like that on and off. And I feel like I will pay for a foundation that’s not gonna break out my face.

Okay, now I’m using my found society bouncing this. If I could sing the phrases of one thing that I’ve added to my routine in the last month, it’s fun society. It’s completely changed my skin. I mean, a video about that too, like my updated skincare routine. So I have everything share there, but I love using the Balancing Mist as like a setting spray as well. I’m kind of gonna cheat and use I gotta shade darker. And so that sketching set this time and I feel like it makes my eyebrows a little bit too, like if I do it too much. So I’m using the lighter shade on that, put my eyeliner on, my mascara, and there you have it.

That’s my updated makeup routine. I spatial the details of doing my eyelash curling and all about stuff. But I just love this Dior foundation. I think it’s great for summer. I feel like it’s like light coverage, but it covers everything, especially if you need blemishes or anything like that. Perfection. I have it all linked up in my shop, LTK, if you want to look at it. I will also share, save all my shades there. But I don’t really know how that helps anybody cuz everybody has different policy.
