I asked 1 thousand different people,
what is the best movie franchise of all time?
Franchise being a minimum of four films.
I’ve now tallied up all of the results
to give you a top 10 franchises list
based on how many votes each individual franchise received.
But before we go on to that,
let’s go on to some honorable mentions
that just missed out on the top ten.
At two franchises that shockingly just hit 11 votes.
And I was shocked by both these.
First of all, pirates of the Caribbean.
I know four and five,
big drop off, but the first three should get it a little bit higher.
We also had Mad Max, another that I’d have so much higher,
and I had one 13 votes, and that being Indiana Jones.
I imagine dial of destiny weighed that down for a lot of people.
I had one franchise on 16 votes,
and that being scream, I had two on 17 votes,
both just missing out on the top 10.
The Evil Dead franchise, which would absolutely be a top 10 for me.
And also James Bond. James Bond franchise.
In the seventh place, we have the John Wick films at 23 votes.
Ninth place, the Spider Man films.
It’s a mixed bag.
I think that’s most people’s issues and why it didn’t get more votes.
You know, while I love the Toby films and the Cross,
Spider Verse and Spider Verse,
I don’t particularly love any of The rest,
but it did manage to get 33 votes,
funnily enough. After that,
we had Batman. The Batman franchise at 34 votes,
just beating Spider Man by one vote.
Next we had the planet of the apes franchise,
and I will say this, not a single bad film in the roster.
Just beating Batman by a single vote at 35
and just missing out on a top 5 placing.
We have the alien franchise at 36 votes.
Again, another mix bag,
but the highs are so damn high.
And I am talking alien and alien Covenant.
5th place, we have the MCU at 38 votes.
I don’t know if this will get this high or not
just because how up and down it.
Fourth place.
A big jump in votes here to mission impossible franchise with 68 votes.
The top three. You knew what the top three was gonna be,
but I don’t think you. I don’t think you’d have predicted this order.
Third place, we have Star Wars at 118 votes.
Second place, we have the middle earth franchise,
122 votes. And then I jump up to Harry Potter winning this at 142 votes.
Kind of surprised me as a big Potter fan as well.
I’m. I’m still kind of surprised.
