Wanna help me put together my bridesmaids gifts?
Of course you do. So,
my bridesmaids are just my mom and my sister,
because, 1,
they’re my most favorite people on the entire planet.
And 2, we’re having a really small wedding,
so I’m not gonna have a giant bridal party.
And so I’m gonna ask my sister to be my maid of honor,
which was gonna happen regardless.
And I’m gonna ask my mom to be my matron of honor.
And so, because even though I’m having a teeny,
tiny, little intimate wedding,
I still wanna do the things that I’ve always dreamed of doing.
So let’s put together my bridesmaids gifts.
Here is all of the things that I’m gonna compile.
I found these bags
that actually matched the color scheme of the wedding.
So something I got all three of us.
I got us matching robes to wear, um,
for when we’re getting ready.
And these are from Fruit Fresh.
I bought these myself, so don’t come for me.
Um, these library.
It’s called the Secret Library
is the pattern. If you can see, there’s, like,
books and coffee and plants.
And there’s even, like,
a little orange kitty cat and, like,
a mouse. Um,
which. We actually have an orange kitty cat.
His name is Muse. And I bought them for us to match
because the theme of my wedding is love story,
and we’re getting married in the library.
So I was like, this is so Cute.
I got all of us ones to match, um,
to wear when we get ready in January.
Next, I wanted to give them something that was my favorite.
I love the Summer Fridays lip balm.
I personally just, like,
I bought them for myself and I love them.
So I got my sister the one that’s cherry,
cause it’s got a little bit of a tint to it.
And then this one is the vanilla one for my mom
because she doesn’t like color, um,
on her lips specifically, and so it smells good
and it’s just like, the best.
So each one get one of these.
My wedding is mid afternoon,
but we’re gonna be getting ready in the morning now. Great.
It. We’re not gonna take these with us,
but, you know,
I’m trying to, like,
live the dream. So I got them, like,
breakfast drinks. My mom drinks tea. Um,
she has like, been obsessed with this Scottish breakfast tea.
I got it for her for Christmas last year,
and she still talks about it and loves it,
so I got her some for that.
My sister is a matcha person,
or she says matcha. Um,
so I got her this, like,
really fun vanilla matcha.
I found it on Amazon and I have really good reviews,
so hopefully she likes it.
Next up, we’re like,
little things that I got for my mom and my sister individually
that are just special cause I just wanted To treat them.
So the first thing for my sister, um,
I got her a fragrance that I want her to try
because I’ve loved, like,
looking online, all these people that are like,
choosing their wedding fragrances,
cause I’m like, when you wear it,
it’s like, special.
And I’m doing the same thing for my bridal fragrance.
So I got her a little mini fragrance to try.
And then I got her a fun little water bottle that’s like
this minty green color cause it comes like matcha, um,
and I thought she could, cause she’s actually moving in a week.
And so I after this to take with her,
cause I thought this was like,
perfect for her to take with her to school,
so, yeah.
So for my mom, she drinks tea,
and for Christmas, I bought her this, like,
British teapot that she uses. Um,
and I bought a really fun tea cozy that goes over it.
I bought her this, like,
Christmas tea cozy. It looks like a Christmas pudding.
It didn’t get here. It’s like,
lost in the mail. So I printed a copy
because the person who sells it on Etsy
so graciously sent me a replacement.
It’s just not here yet. So I printed this copy to put in her present.
Next, what I did was,
is I printed pictures of us
and just put them in a simple frame
that I thought they could put in their room or like,
somewhere In the house. So this one’s for my mom.
And this one’s for my mom,
cause this was our last girls trip to Disney,
which was so much fun. And then I did one picture for my sister.
This was us at the heiress tour.
We went to the LA, the fifth LA concert last year.
And then because my sister’s moving,
I didn’t want to give her, like,
a ton of frames,
so I actually printed a bunch of pictures of us all together
that then she could put up, um,
in her dorm room because she’s actually moving to Scotland.
A whole separate deal.
A lot of you guys think that my sister is moving to Scotland and it’s,
like, because of me.
It’s not. She’s actually the one that was gonna move to Scotland
before I even met my fiance.
Like, completely different thing.
In fact, she started the Scotland thing before me.
The last little gift that I did is
I wanted us to have something that we could all wear
on the day of the wedding.
Um, so I have gone in and like,
I reached out to somebody who makes.
I live in Hawaii, and handmade jewelry in Hawaii is like,
so special and wonderful. And investment pieces.
So I reached out to one of my favorite local designers,
name is Ari Hawaii, um,
right here. And I had her make rings for my sister,
my mom and I that match that we can Wear on the wedding day.
And it’s these. It has, like,
a blush colored pearl, and it’s got, like, stamp,
like, a Hawaiian ring stamp on it.
So I got us all matching rings.
That I figure I’m gonna wear this on my right hand. Um.
And I figured we could wear it to the wedding.
I’m just, like,
so happy, haha.
Like, what is my life?
This is the ring. It’s like,
blush colored. It’s got, like,
a stamp on the side, and I’m gonna wear it on my right hand.
And I just have cards that I’m gonna write to them.
Just basically all the sappy goodness.
Now it’s time to assemble.
