Makeup has always been a form of therapy for me, especially this particular style of makeup. This is the kind of makeup that I put on if I know I’m gonna be spending an hour in the bathroom taking hot pictures to post on an Instagram story. I know every one of you has at one point or another posted a hot picture just to see who would like it on the story. So I’m gonna show you my routine for this particular style of makeup. Just started using this little stick product from Briojo. It’s a styling treat. So it’s like skincare for your hair. Does that make sense? But it can slip back. And I really like the look of it. I’m starting out with a little bit of stroke cream for Mac. This is the one that has like a pink shift and it gives you the prettiest glow to your skin. Every once in a while, like back to the Strobe Cream, and I’m reminded why I love it so much.
Max Studio, Radiance, Face and body, I just like it. I use it all the time. Today was a day that I overslept and I just did not feel good about myself. So in order to counteract that, this is the makeup that I’m doing. And I do this like every so often. Sometimes you just need a day where you look extra hot.
I’ve been rocking with a lighter coverage base like this. I don’t know. I like it. I just feel like it flatters me a little bit more. I just got these in the mail. I’m so excited to use them. They’re from Maybelline. It’s the sun kisser blushes. I’m gonna do a combo one, like a little bit of a glitter and then just the typical blush. This one is really beautiful. I like this one is in the shade. Downtown rush. It’s like a peach. Your blush. I like this a lot. I’m a creature of habit. What can I say? I just stick to what I know and love. And I love a peachy or blush.
And then this one has a little shimmer in it. It’s like more of a bronze shade. Oh, not that I’m gonna do a touch of bronze or just on like the perimeter and then my forehead a little bit. It’s coming together. Maybe it’s because it’s the summertime, but lately I don’t really like the look of wearing too much concealer. So I’m just gonna do like a dot and I’d like doing it after the bronze, doing the blush because it really brightens up the face.
I’m like 10 minutes into doing my makeup and I already kind of feel it coming back to me. I have nowhere to go after this too. I’m quite literally just gonna take like cute pictures to post when I’ve done placing the concealer, I just go back through the bronzer and just kind of tap over it. Cuz I think it kind of softens it into the face and just melts everything together. If you do feel like you have sparse her brows, this melt fragile really does kind of add like a lot of texture and just kind of makes your eyebrows look more full. Pink powder just kind of neutralizes everything. I swear it just like pulls the face together. I’m gonna use these like little Mavi tones.
This is our Lord Mercy caviar stick and then a little eyeshadow stick from a cosmetics. So it’s a little bit deeper like a plum kind of shade and it has some shimmer to it. So it really just like, it’s quite literally so easy and it just gives you a really pretty eye without having to do much. They’re really easy to blend with your fingers. And I love products that make it look like you did a lot more than you actually did. Someone from a cosmetics is Nat and I’m just gonna put that over on top of the eye. It’s a little bit more muted, but I love the effect with both of them. I think it’s so pretty. So just using my fingers with this, I think that’s the nice thing about shadow. Sexes really can just like blend them and mold them how you want them. They don’t honestly talk about makeup and technique for hours. I’ve like done makeover so long. I just think it’s kind of fun to really like play around with products and find things that are ex easy to use. I wanna make it just a touch darker. So I’m taking a black pencil just to deepen it a little bit. But other than that, I don’t really want to change too much about it.
Sometimes I also dislike to use products that I feel like are really chic. So for instance, Lanko and mascara I feel like is really chic and it just automatically you feel like a little bit harder. You feel very sophisticated. With the lipstick, you could go one of two ways. You could do like a really deep red lip or some sort of nude variation. I’m gonna go for the nude variation, but I feel like something like really deep like this from Armani would be really nice. It’s gonna shade 2:07, like it goes pretty well with the eyes. But I think when I do nude, this Chestnut from Mac, I’m just gonna do like a pretty deep nude lip. This might be a cool color. It’s like a coral shade from Panmegraph. I don’t know. I kind of feel like this clashes too much. I’m going to try something else. I think this goes a lot better where this is sore. For Mac, it’s a little bit more of that like purpley kind of muted tone. Yeah, that looks a lot better. You always gotta do a little chic mall, the finishing touch. And this is the finished look. This is exactly what I was envisioning. I’m gonna go to the bathroom and take some hot pictures now.
