The Ravens legendary offensive line coach
has sadly passed away this morning.
Really good offensive line coaches are very hard to come by,
which is why the Baltimore Ravens,
over the past eight years,
have been extremely lucky,
as their offensive line coach,
Joe Delasandro,
has easily been one of the best in the NFL for a long time.
But earlier today,
sad news had come out from the Baltimore Ravens organization
regarding Joe Delasandro, as it’s being reported that Joe,
at the age of 70 years old,
has sadly passed away.
And this disappointing news comes a little bit as a surprise to many.
However, the legendary coach had been dealing with complications
for the past couple months
from a surgery that he had over the summer.
And it’s also being reported
that he was actually already in the hospital
dealing with an acute illness.
But everybody expected him to fully recover.
So when the news came out today,
everybody was shocked. And upon the news breaking,
the Baltimore Ravens have released a statement
regarding the passing of their legendary offensive line coach.
