God is reminding us to remember the Sabbath.
Rest is where we remember that he is god and we are not.
Rest is where we remember that he holds all the things together.
Without our help. He doesn’t need us.
Rest is where we remember
that god created the time restraints
and limitations that we rebel against.
Rest is where we remember that he is at work in us,
even in the waiting.
We might think we can’t take the time for rest,
but in reality, we can’t afford not to.
I know this resonates with me tonight.
