DIY Squishies: A Fun and Long-Lasting Craft Activity for Kids

My mom is watching my kids today,
and the only thing my five year old wanted me to leave out
was his squishy. She said,
start off with 10 cups of warm water,
and then you stir in one of the solution packets.
And the water doesn’t have to be warm when you’re making the squishies,
so this will last all day.
I decided to do it in a bigger bucket.
That way he can make as many as he wants while we’re gone.
And of course, I’m sure my mum will wanna make some too,
because they are so much fun.
This kit comes with so many different shapes,
so you can make anything you want.
A ton of different colours.
And we’ve had it for months now,
and the colours are still pretty much all.
So you can make hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of these squishies
and you’re not gonna need to buy a new kit.
So what you’re gonna Wanna do is
you’re gonna Wanna pick the mold that you wanna use,
dip the paint brush and paint the mold.
That way the goo doesn’t get stuck to it.
Then you can just mix and match colors.
You can make it whatever color you want.
Then you dip it in the solution,
shake it out of the mold,
and then just let it set in the water for a few minutes.
It’ll be a squishy, fun toy to play with before you know it.
And then When you’re done for the day,
just store it in Tupperware
and they’ll be fun for weeks or even months.
My son still has his first ones that he’s ever made. Have fun!
