You know, it’s funny with that song,
cause it started off as a bit of a wild dream I had
where I was this bloke called Dominic Cobb.
He’s a bit of a dream expert.
So I’m there
and I’m stealing secrets from people’s minds while they snooze.
But bit of a twist, got a bit of baggage from my past,
you know. And in this dream
I see this big guy called psycho.
He’s a bit of a big shot businessman,
you know.
And he wants me to do this mind bending job called an inception.
Plant ideas in people’s dreams.
Like I’m planting vegetables in my veggie garden,
you know. So then it’s my job to assemble a bit of a dream team.
And things get pretty crazy
and, you know,
turns out I’ve got to face my own demons to get the job done,
you know? But I’m haunted by these memories,
you know, and the boundaries between reality and dreams
gets fuzzier than the guitar riff on Hey Bulldog.
So with that moment,
I wake up, you know,
and I’ve got this song stuck in my head.
So I run over to the piano
and that was the inception of let it be.
