Unexpected Milan Retreat: A Review of My Stay in Italy

I’m in Milan in Italy and come and see the apartment that I’m staying in. So this is the street that we are seeing in and this is the building. So it’s very secure. It’s a sex via de LA Laura. It’s got this big green door that you go in, you give, get given a card, a call to get in. And then you go in through this lovely secure door into these gates, into these gorgeous gardens. How pretty.

And then this is our apartment jeered on the left. So when you arrive, they give you a call to access the keys. And then this is the apartment. So this is the front door. As you walk through, you’ve got your kitchen area, you with microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toast, etcetera. And then you’ve got a dishwasher there, a fridge, and then all your cutlery and crockery. And then on your left, as you come through the door, you’ve got a little cabinet with all your plates and dishes and things. You got some lovely artwork. These cute little chairs, as you can see, our luggage because we’re just about to leave little breakfast, certain area.

And then we walk through to the bedroom. Again, lots of this lovely colorful art, very Italian. This is the bed, which was quite comfortable. He’s a little bit odd, but it was okay. Love those lamps. Absolutely love those lamps. There’s two of them, but the apartment is a little bit messy because obviously we’ve been in here. So it was a bit neater when we arrived.

So then as you come through this store, you’ve got a storage area, your wardrobe with you, iron board, Ada, etc. Then this is the bathroom. You’ve got a B day, a toilet, a shower, which I must say is a beautiful shower. It comes with a food shower. And that show is lovely and powerful. Comes with tell you trees, which will lovely as well. You’ve even got a washing machine, which that is very handy. And then you go your little basin and a lovely mirror. Hello. I like these lights as well. I thought they were quite fancy level, those lights.

Now for the pricing, it was expensive. We’re, well, we were meant to be right by the Duomo Cathedral, kind of went a little bit Tesla. I’ll explain now. But I paid 250 pound for one night. But the reason I paid that 250 pound was because on the listing on booking.com, it said that it was 300 meters away from the duo more cathedral and, you know, all the center. And I thought, you know what to be central location where all the places I wanna visit, then I’m happy to pay a bit more. So as you can see, it’s a beautiful apartment. The only problem is it’s not the apartment I booked. So on booking.com, the listing was for the Duomo Suites in the heart of Duomo, 10,300 meters away from the cathedral. So that’s where we went. And when we got there, we couldn’t get in to the Milan retreats where I thought we were saying. So I ran the number. No, actually they text you on WhatsApp and he told me that I was in this apartment, which is like a 15 minute walk. Now, I don’t mind walking, but when you pay in £250, and I was expecting to stay in the Duomo suites. I was slightly disappointed, as you can imagine. But anyway, we did come to a resolution. The host, I don’t know if it’s an Italian thing, but I’m sorry to say if you’re watching, it was very rude. He spoke to me quite abruptly and yeah, I didn’t like the way you spoke to me, but oh, well, we have to have somewhere to stay. So we came here. And like I said, the apartment’s beautiful, is just not the one I booked. So be aware if you are coming to Milan and you book in Milan Retreats that they have eight different apartments and you could be put in any one of them. Okay, but then the listing is very misleading because it says the duo more sweets and it says 300 meters from the cathedral. Also, the photos that are on booking.com are completely different to the apartment that I’m in. So false advertising, misunderstanding? I don’t know, you decide. But anyway, we had a lovely stay. We’re adding off now. We’re gonna go to another city. So guess in the commerce where we go in and we’ll show you when we get there.
