Exploring New Flavors: Shawarma Chicken Thighs Wraps – A Taste Test Journey

We’re gonna try something new for dinner today, and it is shawerma chicken thighs from Trader Joe’s. I’m very curious to see what this tastes like. I’ve heard really good things. I always get the carney tacos that come and this packaging and the chicken like taco that comes in this packaging. And those are pretty much staples in this house because it’s super simple. So I’m hoping that this will not disappoint. Smells good. Just gonna put a lot, a little bit of oil. So since we’re gonna make some wraps, I just diced up some cucumber, red onion and tomato. And I want to make a little tame sauce. So this is tahine. And it’s basically a sesame taste. And it’s used in a lot of Middle Eastern Mediterranean dishes. So to make this sauce, you wanna go in with some tami.

Little bit of salt, lemon juice, cloves of garlic, because, so since he’s gonna look weird in the beginning, but it’ll come together more like tasty for me. And I wanted to be more saucy, so I’m gonna add a little bit more water. That’s what I’m talking about.

Part of the wraps. I also wanna do a little lettuce, like a fresh lettuce situation. So this is butter and Radisio lettuce. Gonna put a little bit of that in a bowl. Gonna add some lemon, little bit of salt, splash of vinegar, olive or pepper, little bit of sumo.

Let me show you the most interesting part, which are the pickles. So we have pickled okra, which is delicious if you’ve never tried this, you should. Paper berries, which are fancy papers, and then a lemonade style turnip. So this is what I was referring to the other day when I was talking about, I can’t remember, but also we don’t have Arabic pita bread. We have this one. Okay, the chicken is done and it looks promising, looks juicy.

So start with some tahine, some of this shower mom meets bit of. Let the lettuce mix. Some cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion and some of these slices. Oh, bit more sauce. How is it? How was it attend?
