Two of the top teams in Florida have already gotten upset.
Lakeland went into Trans Power Stadium on Friday
and shut down one of the top offenses in the country
in No.. 20 ranked Miami Central.
Malik Morris LED the way for Lakeland
with an incredible fourth down stop,
followed by a blocked punt on the next drive
that he eventually punched in for a touchdown.
Central had a chance to even the score late in the fourth,
but Dante Jenkins iced the game on a pass breakup on fourth and one,
sealing the 16 to 8 win for Lakeland.
Nashawn Montgomery was special for Miami Central
as he’s set to announce his commitment today.
He put up 100 yards for the Lions
and reeled in their only touchdown of the game.
