Bars when to show you guys how I achieve a B that is long lasting, comfortable. I feel my best, most confident self in is bronze, is Chloe, is hoey. And it’s honestly like the face that you want to be able to feel put together while you’re running errands because that’s literally what I’m gonna be doing in the heat all day with three kids. But the makeup, Mary, the makeup, it’s gonna slay all day.
Things first, I don’t know if you clock this, but I use a water based moisturizer in the summer. If you have oily skin and you’re not wearing a water base moisturizer, you are setting yourself up for failure. This one is from Clinique. It is one of my favorites. It is the moisture search, the water based girly and she is truly divine. Shower handle. I also use my refi primer both liquid our water based again, repeat after me.
Pop quiz, guys. If you have oily skin, what primer should you be using? What moisturizer should be using? Water base. You’re welcome. Crime with your setting spray I don’t know how many times after view myself prime with your setting spray. If you’re not priming with your settings right, don’t know how to help you decay. All nighter in the watermelon scent is everything. I also use the vitamin C cactus water. I think this one is called fade in A2 or is more. Let your primer set, let your moisturizer set, let your setting spray dry. Let your face get tacky. Do not go in with foundation, cream products, nothing until it all sets. Breathe. Take a minute. Relax.
For one comment I get, especially in the summertime from my oily skin sisters out there is, why does my makeup break apart? It’s probably because you’re going in with the primer and you’re not letting it set. You are very likely mixing like a water based primer with an oil based foundation or vice versa. Or you’re using a moisturizer under your makeup that is too thick with three seas, too long lasting. Makeup is not mixing and oil with a water race and also light, thin baby layers. Okay, just think light.
Oh, I don’t know if I made myself clear enough, but let your primer set. Let it get tacky like the Blouse Barn do. They do my brows while I let my primers get sticky and like my moisturizer kind of set and everything and it works for me. But after them, I immediately go into like my Korean bronzer or my bronzing drops. I have been loving the browsing drops from Revolution Beauty.
You guys know this. I literally like bathe in this stuff. Bathe like that’s probably too much, but that’s fine. Professionals like to call this underpainting. And that’s just where you apply like your bronzer below your foundation, your concealer. Honestly, guys, I do this because I get very messy and obviously very bronzer happy. So I need my concealer to help clean it up.
But this is what I do. It seems to work for me and it gives me a nice natural base of Chloe and Holly and bronze and Tan. Ann hunting. You got it. I want a little bit more, which I’m not gonna like. Sometimes I do. I go in with the Anastasia Cream Bronzer. And this stuff, guys, literally like it is a sun rays blessing your skin. Very easy with this because we want our skin to look as natural as possible. And this is the difference between this and just the bronzing drops will make you look very natural. This definitely makes it look like you’re wearing makeup. So just keep that in mind.
Then I also, and 10 out of 10, the reason I go, and nine out of 10 times, the reason I go into this stuff is because I also need something to throw in my eye that gives me a very monochromatic bronze summary look, I literally lost my turn of thought and forgot what I was saying. But anyways, just throw bronzer on your eye. It just, it works. Look at me in the earballs because what I’m going to say is going to change your life and it’s something you should already know, but it’s fine. We’ll get past that. If it is a cream, set it with a powder. So I’m gonna go in with my powder bronzer and I’m gonna set the cream on my eyelids. Because if I don’t, I’m gonna be an oily, greasy lid monster and we don’t want that.
Try to skip this step if you’re okay with like really nothing on your eyelids. But I personally always like to add a shimmer, swipe, grab literally any highlighter. Doesn’t matter. This one is from WhatsApp Beauty. Put some shimmer on my eyelids. And I’m not precise with it at all. If anything, I prefer to be more sloppy cuz it makes it look overall more natural. So been a brown eyeliner, girly, like strictly for the past year, I feel almost. And this one from lancome is my favorite. How she is a pricey one. And I do know l’real makes a bomb one, so don’t comfort me for the price tag, but she is bomb.
This is going to make so many people cringe, but bear with me. Don’t really wear a foundation these days. I prefer to just go in with my concealer. But the amount of concealer I actually go in with is on. I mean, I might as well be wearing found foundation. But the thing is, guys, I haven’t found a foundation that I can wear like every single day. That is a slight weight as these concealers give me the brightening and I feel like the lifting and just the overall freshness again that these concealers do. It is the Dior Forever skin. Correct. And the Tower 28 Concealer. This combination literally my everything lasting again. Very brightening. It covers perfect for me. I mean, you could always build it up cuz it is a concealer. I like for my skin to look a little bit more natural and less of a full coverage be. And this concealer, like they give me that, like the honey, like I’m just gonna make a couple of bigger runs today. Really just want to feel comfortable.
I wanna know what I’m doing today. Going to gag and maybe kill me. Be a big girl. And I’m officially gonna go to Costco and get a membership. I’ve been using my cousins for far too. Are they worth it? You guys like comment down below. Because our Costco girlies, are they really worth it? But off doing this for actual years, I’ve had a Costco in my town forever. How about it is summer break and my kids are home all the time and they are eating their way through my pantry. Like I gotta stock up and I just gonna do it, guys. Is it worth it?
We’re definitely, most definitely going to bake or cook, whatever, but we’re really gonna set up our makeup tone guys. Cuz again, we use a lot of creams, so we gotta set it down with the powder. You know the rules. You’re going to let this sit for a cute minute. Like I’m literally gonna go swap out my laundry, some water, like me, go eat a snack, and then we’re gonna wipe this off. But the longer you let it set, guys, the longer it’ll wear. I promise. There’s a small amount of powder bronzer. This is honestly optional. A settings rate. Layer it on.
I’m telling you, this is the hack. Also, cannot skip this step. I always throw bronzer on my lower lash line, guys, just to bring the look again, more cohesive, more monochromatic, more together. Freckles is something I also cannot skip. I’m so addicted to them. Blame me. Blame this bobble pen that makes it literally so easy and like, so just, I can’t, guys are too cute is put them under my blush. That way they look a lot more natural. By the way, guys, I am using these it cosmetics blushes in the shade sunblossom, and it is so perfect, so cute, so stunning of an orangy peachy blush in the summer because it brings out a tan so much more. Like layering your bronzer with a corally orange peachy blush and just watch what it does. It elevates it to a whole other level. So set that with a powder.
I use Kitten Baby by Kylie Cosmetics. It is the perfect summer blush mascara, brown mascara. That’s it. That’s the tweet. Pop some highlight in like the inner corners of your eyes and like watch your look go from zero to 1,000.
A lip liner. I’m loving this one from Elf. It’s one of their newish kind of lip liners. And this Tower Beauty Lip Gloss Perfection itself, finish it with even more setting spray just to like secure the whole thing. But I promise you guys, this makeup look will not move and it’s gonna slay and it’s gonna get you so many compliments. Do pretty good with it. But today I’m like, wow, do they take your picture for your Costco credit card? Cuz I’m ready.
