found a trip from New York City part 5
we took an hour Metro North train from Grand Central to Croton Harmon
then we took 10 minute Uber rides to Croton Gorge
Park from the train station to see the biggest dam in New York
the view from the falls and the top was stunning
and we enjoy a little bit of hike to see the top of the dam from the bridge
then we took an Uber back to the town
where we make the first stop by the Blue Pig
if you ever hear the homemade ice cream is a must try
we stroll around the town for a bit
this town is such a quaint town
and the smallest roundabout I’ve ever seen in my life
then we went to croton Colonial Diner
it’s one of the oldest diner that is still around and is still going strong
they have great food drinks and the prices that doesn’t break the bank
then we wrap up our day trip by catching Amtrak back to Penn Station
