Gamers’ Rollercoaster Week: Black Myth Wukong’s Record-Breaking Success and Concorde’s Disappointing Release

This has to be one of the craziest weeks we’ve ever seen in gaming,
because not only did Black Myth Wukong break,
like, every single record for a single player game,
even beating Elden Ring.
And I know a lot of people out there are arguing that
because it has a Chinese audience,
and there’s so many people in China,
but yeah,
that’s true.
There is a massive amount of people playing the game from China.
But now that more people are actually playing the game,
they’re realizing that it’s insanely fun,
and it deserves all the accolades that are happening to it.
A few frustrations like a map or whatever,
but at the same time, this week,
PlayStation released Concorde.
This is actually supposed to be an Overwatch clone or competitor,
and it peaked out at under 700 people playing the entire higher game.
Apparently, this cost over $100 million to make.
And like, if you’re gonna copy Overwatch,
why not do it like Marvel Rivals,
which is actually insanely fun.
So after this record breaking high in gaming,
we’ve had this absolutely record breaking low.
On top of that,
we literally have Star Wars Outlaws coming out in a week.
So we’ll see how this goes.
