Bussing Food Review: Mother Seafood and More – A Culinary Delight During Lockdown

During the pandemic, when we was all on lockdown,
I used to order from Mother Seafood and more all the time on Uber Eats.
And when I saw this, I was like, hmm,
is this the same place? And it most certainly is.
I have not had them since covid,
so I was like, let me come in here and see if it’s still hit.
Now, granted,
I never had anything from the buffet table.
I used to always order. They steam in seafood.
So I was like, let me decide to try this out today and see if it hit
and give you all a review on it.
Y’all are always asking me for cheap eats.
They have buy one, get one free on a lot of different dishes here.
I mean, one protein and two sides.
You cannot beat it.
And they also have a great lunch special from 11 to 3.

So I got a barbecue chicken dinner.
Barbecue chicken, baked macaroni and cheese,
and collard greens with smoked Turkey,
if you feel like.
My chicken looks small is because I pick the small pieces of chicken.
I don’t like big chicken.
Very, very vinegary. I’m not complaining.
I love when collard greens got meat in it,
especially smoked Turkey. One neck bone.
We got neck bones. Whoo!
Alright, 10 out of 10 on the collard greens.
Let’s do the baked macaroni and cheese.
This is a 40 out of 10.
This is perfect. I love this.
I know I’m not a fan of Jamaican baked macaroni and cheese.
Somebody southern taught him how to make this.

This is delectable barbecue chicken thigh.
Look how it just fell. That’s how I like my chicken.

This has, like,
Sunday dinner. I don’t usually buy barbecue chicken from restaurants.
This is some of the best barbecue chicken I’ve ever had
in a restaurant, ever. This is Bussy.
Mm. Hmm. Mm.
Eyes closed. I don’t want to see this on TV.
Okay.
This tastes like a perfect mixture of southern fried chicken
mixed with Jamaican fried chicken.
You are American. I’m a Jamaican.
This is bussing
50 out of 10 on the fried chicken wing.
Yeah, I was right.
Now, I usually order the steamed salmon from them on Uber Eats
with steamed vegetables and potatoes.
I have it in a minute, though.
But again, we’re watching the calories,
so I’m just gonna do the steamed salmon
because I still got two sides for my dinner.
Yep. It was spicy.
It tastes almost like, um,
lemon herb jerk salmon. Oh, good.
The garlic and the butter.
Delectable. 20 out of 10.
I’m a salmon girl, and y’all be messing up salmon,
but they got it right. And last but not least,
a side of cornbread. Now,
I do like my cornbread nice and warm,
but I like the fact that this is Not the end piece.
That’s, like,
super crispy. Yeah,
I know. I’m a middle cornbread girl.
Oh, motherfucker.
You can’t have my cornbread,
that’s for damn sure. Cause I’m from New York City,
God damn it.
Hmm. It’s not giving cornbread,
it’s giving cake. It almost tastes like a cornbread slash pound cake.
It’s delicious. I’m gonna take this home and heat this up.

I try to make it, but you need to, like,
let you know why I’m annoyed.

I’m not playing. I devoured my food,
my little one meal a day. Now we’ll say the collard greens.
As I begin to eat them, they need more flavor,
so I’m gonna give them a 6 out of 10.
They just started to be, like,
overpowering with, um, vinegar,
any little red pepper, salt,
black pepper, maybe garlic powder.
It was just too vinegary. I ate them, though.
