We absolutely loved La Palma. It was my second time actually visiting Capri. Previously, I have stayed at take a place which is ridiculous at the profit property itself is gorgeous, but the location isn’t as great. It is closer to the Marina and to get anywhere in the center of turn, you have to get a taxi. I wouldn’t walk. That wouldn’t be pleasant. But Lapalma is literally right in the mix. You can walk to anywhere from there, the piazza, LA Fontilina, all of the restaurants. You obviously have to get a taxi to Anna Capri. You can do a bus as well, but we just took taxis the whole time. So the location is amazing. Super happy be with it. So it is a renovated hotel like all the properties on the island, like older hotels that a, you know, renovate. It’s the staff for all amazing. The concierge looked after all of our bookings for us, like to Fontelina restaurant reservation, all of the transport, because obviously it’s a bit of a mission to get to Capri, flying to Naples, then you get a car to the Marina, like the Marina port there. Then you have to get a ferry or you can get a private boat, which is what we did over to CA Capri.
And then what else about the hotel? It has a really amazing rooftop, but it’s called Bianca or Blanca, which was super fun. Like has just like this. So pizza up there. It’s actually really big. I think it’s one of the only rooftop bars in on the island, which was cool. There’s also a club down the bottom. One on our last morning, we had to leave at like 4 a. M. And the club was absolutely pump thing was like all the girls are coming out like just sorry, hammered. It was actually quite amusing. So that was quite funny. What else? Breakfast was delish. You can choose from ALACA or they do have like a buffet with obviously all of the delicious Italian sweets. Coffee was good while we were there. Obviously we had a day with no water, but the hotel was really brilliant. Obviously, it was not there. So, but they, you know, we’re always just asking for the comms, like, you know, what the latest was in terms of like when the water would be restored. And you know, they delivered us water. I guess they could just did what they could to keep us comfortable. And what else to say? It was just a great spot. The pool there is quite small. We didn’t even go to the pool at all. I mean, if we wanna to go, like we went to several beach clubs. So we did that instead. But we did notice cuz that room was, we had a suite, then we had like this big outdoor space, which was beautiful and overlooked the pool. And one day did go super packed. What else? The rooms itself. So we, like I said, we had a suite with the big space that was really good. So we actually did have a little bit more space to spread out. Think when you’re there for like five days, you like, although you’re going to be out every day, like you don’t wanna feel like you’re living on top of someone or like your luggage is just everywhere and you kind of pack. There’s no enough hangers.
Like I said, the amenities, the Cinematic Bella was beautiful. We had room service one night for dinner, which was really good. So overall, I would definitely go back. We just loved how close it was. Oh, and the other, on the other thing is that they have a beach club down by the water. Where you can reserve chairs, like some lounges, both in like a deck, a raised deck, but also like on the rocky beach. And there’s a little restaurant that goes with it, but they sort of like drinks all day. And then you can get, you organize a little shuttle and then they will take you back up to the hotel, which is really convenient as well. But you’d, like I said, amazing. Loved it, would definitely go back.
